Synopsis As Introduced
Amends provisions of the Illinois Human Rights Act prohibiting sexual harassment in higher education so that they also apply to sexual harassment in elementary and secondary schools. Effective immediately.

Governor Amendatory Veto Message
Provides that the Department of Human Rights shall in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and the Illinois State Police, issue publications, conduct research, make surveys, and conduct studies as it deems necessary.
