Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Cycle Rider Safety Training Act. Provides that any State university or community college (rather than any State or community college, State university, or community agency) designated by the Department of Transportation may organize a Regional Cycle Rider Training Center. Provides that the State Treasurer shall appoint the trustee for the Cycle Rider Training Fund. Provides that the trustee, in consultation with the Department, is authorized to award contracts out of appropriations to the Fund (rather than providing that the Department is authorized to do so). Effective immediately.

Deletes reference to:
625 ILCS 35/4
625 ILCS 35/7

Amends the Cycle Rider Safety Training Act. Provides for certain disbursements from the Cycle Rider Safety Training Fund notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary adopted after the effective date of the Act. Effective immediately.
