Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Exempts public institutions of higher education from the requirement that a State agency include on materials it publishes certain information concerning State authorization, publication date, number of copies printed, and printing order number. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. With respect to the requirement that a State agency's printed material include certain authorization and publication information, exempts a public institution of higher education's printing of material that is not paid for from State appropriations. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 3
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of House Amendment No. 1 with the following change: Also exempts printing performed by a university unit and printing in conjunction with contracts (i) between the State and political subdivisions or other governments or (ii) between State governmental bodies. Effective immediately.
