| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 |
| learn of the death of Josephine (Toigo) Rea of Christopher who |
4 |
| passed away on December 27, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Josephine Rea was a homemaker, devoted wife, |
6 |
| mother, and grandmother; she married our former colleague, |
7 |
| Senator James F. Rea, on March 6, 1964; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Josephine Rea was a member of St. Andrew's |
9 |
| Catholic Church in Christopher, CASA of Southern Illinois, and |
10 |
| Fraternity of the Eagles; she was also the financial secretary |
11 |
| of several political organizations; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, Josephine Rea is survived by her husband, James |
13 |
| Rea; her children and their spouses, James A. and Valrey Rea |
14 |
| and Jo Ellen and John Brayfield; her grandchildren, Aaron, |
15 |
| Dalton, and Avery Rea and Steven and Sarah Jo Brayfield; and |
16 |
| her brothers and sisters, Adeline Walker, Angie Loiacono, Mary |
17 |
| Fusanti, Lorena Simon, Joe Toigo, and Tony Toigo; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, John |
19 |
| Pete and Antonia (Andgretti) Toigo; and three brothers, John |
20 |
| Toigo II, Lewis Toigo, and Jacco Toigo; therefore, be it
|
21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
23 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Josephine Rea; and be it |
24 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to the family of Josephine Rea as an expression of |
27 |
| our sincere sorrow.
