| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Wayne |
4 |
| Charles VanHeirseele of Wheeling, who recently passed away; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Wayne VanHeirseele was born on May 8, 1934 in |
6 |
| McHenry, Illinois; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with |
8 |
| the United States Navy; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, He served as the Postmaster of the Wheeling Post |
10 |
| Office for over 30 years, retiring in 1992; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in |
12 |
| Buffalo Grove, the National Association of Postmasters, and a |
13 |
| member of the Board of Directors of Awake Support Group for |
14 |
| Sleep pnea at Condell Medical Center; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, Wayne VanHeirseele is survived by his daughter, |
16 |
| Debra Knill and her husband, Mike; his brothers, James |
17 |
| VanHeirseele and his wife, Mary, and Donald VanHeirseele and |
18 |
| his wife, Melanie; his sister, Barbara Johnson and her husband, |
19 |
| Durrell; his sister-in-law, Marjorie Cox and her husband, |
20 |
| Roger; and his two grandchildren, Nicholas and Kaitlin; |
21 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we again send our |
24 |
| sympathies to the family and friends of Wayne VanHeirseele; and |
25 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
