| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Glenda C. Bradford of Mt. |

| Vernon, on Tuesday, September 26, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on February 8, 1944, in Jefferson |
6 |
| County to Wilroy "Jake" Byars and Vivan (Chambliss) Byars; she |
7 |
| was united in marriage to Roy Dean Bradford on August 11, 1963, |
8 |
| in Mt. Vernon; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, She was an executive secretary at World Color |
10 |
| Press in Mt. Vernon; she was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist |
11 |
| Church; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Glenda C. Bradford has been deeply |
13 |
| felt by many, especially her mother, Vivan Byars; her husband, |
14 |
| Roy Dean Bradford; her daughters Marcia Rainey and husband, |
15 |
| Chris, Carol Hamerski and husband, Gary, Julie Lusby and |
16 |
| husband, Kevin; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Rachel and, Ava |
17 |
| Rainey, Emily and Madalyn Lusby, and Seth Hamerski; her |
18 |
| nephews, Burdette Rosendale and wife, Lisa, Brice Rosendale and |
19 |
| wife, Kathy; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and |
20 |
| Sharon Bradford, Bill Bradford, Virgil Rosendale, and Ruth |
21 |
| Bradford; she was preceded in death by her father, Wilroy Byars |

| and her sister, Orilla Rosendale; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
25 |
| Glenda C. Bradford, and we extend our sincere condolences to |
26 |
| her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
29 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |

| sympathy.
