| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Doris "Pat" Vanderventer of |
| 4 |
| Waukegan on Friday, June 2, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on February 14, 1929, in Fall River, |
| 6 |
| Wisconsin, and moved to Waukegan when she was 17; she married |
| 7 |
| the love of her life, Donald Vanderventer, on September 16, |
| 8 |
| 1950; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a loving wife and mother and found |
| 10 |
| happiness in spending time with her grandchildren; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Doris "Pat" Vanderventer has been |
| 12 |
| deeply felt by many, especially her husband, Don; her children, |
| 13 |
| Don (Mary Ellen) Vanderventer, Scott (Cherri) Vanderventer, |
| 14 |
| Jim (Nan) Vanderventer, Donna (Tom) Lee, and Leslie |
| 15 |
| Vanderventer; her grandchildren, Katie, Cory, Dillon, Scotty, |
| 16 |
| and Kelli; her great-grandchild, Wesley; her sister-in-law; |
| 17 |
| her two nieces; and her nephew; she was preceded in death by |
| 18 |
| her father, Albert Nehring; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 21 |
| Doris "Pat" Vanderventer, and we extend our sincere condolences |
| 22 |
| to her family, her friends, and all who knew and loved her; and |
| 23 |
| be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
