| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Mary Pauline Lesko |
4 |
| Vadalabene of Edwardsville on Saturday, April 15, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on November 7, 1909, in Pana to |
6 |
| Charles and Susan (Sandrock) Lesko; she married Senator Sam M. |
7 |
| Vadalabene on January 16, 1935, in Pana; he preceded her in |
8 |
| death on May 1, 1994; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Vadalabene was a member of St. Boniface |
10 |
| Catholic Church in Edwardsville; she was a dedicated wife and |
11 |
| mother will be truly missed by all who knew her; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mary Pauline Lesko Vadalabene has |
13 |
| been deeply felt by many, especially her children, William |
14 |
| (wife Mary Ann) Vadalabene, Charles (wife Susan) Vadalabene, |
15 |
| Sam (wife Brenda) Vadalabene, Martin (wife Marilyn) |
16 |
| Vadalabene, and Patricia (husband Larry) Mosby; her |
17 |
| grandchildren, Marina (husband Thomas) Allen, Susan (husband |
18 |
| Matthew) Henke, and Robert Mosby; her sister, Christine Slabik; |
19 |
| her great-grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah, and Harrison Henke |
20 |
| and Kristen, Nicholas, and Maxwell Allen; her seven step-great- |
21 |
| grandchildren; and her step-great-great-grandchild; in |
22 |
| addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her |
23 |
| brothers, Joseph, Charles, and Aloysisu Lesko; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
26 |
| Mary Pauline Lesko Vadalabene, and we extend our sincere |
27 |
| condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
28 |
| her; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
