| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were deeply saddened to |
3 |
| learn of the death of Marjorie L. "Marge" "Mrs. Fitz" |
4 |
| Fitzpatrick on March 4, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Marjorie L. Fitzpatrick was born on October 16, |
6 |
| 1921 in Princeton, the daughter of Simon and Doris (Hollerich) |
7 |
| Fendelman; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a loving wife, mother, |
9 |
| daughter, and sister; she was very dedicated to her family, |
10 |
| giving home care to her Mom, "Dord", for more than 30 years; |
11 |
| Holy Angels Church was a large part of her life, and she always |
12 |
| had time to help with a funeral lunch or to help out in the |
13 |
| office; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, Community service was a priority for Mrs. |
15 |
| Fitzpatrick; she served on the Elmwood Family Advisory Council |
16 |
| and was a dedicated Easter Seal and Association for Individual |
17 |
| Development volunteer; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Fitzpatrick was preceded in death by her |
19 |
| mother and father and by her husband of more than 50 years, Leo |
20 |
| V. Fitzpatrick; and
|
21 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Fitzpatrick will be missed by many, |
22 |
| especially her sons, Michael, Brian, and Kevin; her sister, |
23 |
| Joan (Fendelman) Verucchi; and numerous grandchildren, |
24 |
| great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; therefore, |
25 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
27 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
28 |
| Marjorie L. Fitzpatrick, and we extend our sincerest |
29 |
| condolences to her family and friends; and be it further
|
