| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Sheila Gaspar of Downers |
4 |
| Grove on Tuesday, February 21, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Gaspar was born to Harold and Rose Carol |
6 |
| Brown in Chicago; she was raised in Park Forest and graduated |
7 |
| from Rich East High School in 1973; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, In 1979, Sheila Gaspar received a bachelor's |
9 |
| degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign; she |
10 |
| lived in Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Washington before |
11 |
| settling in Downers Grove in 1986; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, for the last 20 years, Mrs. Gaspar was was |
13 |
| employed by Sungard, a software company in Hinsdale, where she |
14 |
| most recently served as a project manager; she served as |
15 |
| volunteer with the South East Association of Parks and |
16 |
| Recreation preparing meals and coordinating recreational |
17 |
| programs for people with disabilities; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Sheila Gaspar has been deeply felt |
19 |
| by many, especially her husband, James Gaspar; her son, Ryan |
20 |
| (Kate) Gaspar; her daughter, Carrie (Daniel) Katai; her father, |
21 |
| Harold Brown; her brothers Earl (Cherly), Larry, and Curt |
22 |
| Brown; her sister, Emily (James) McIntyre; and her |
23 |
| mother-in-law, Cecilia Gaspar; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
25 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
26 |
| Sheila Gaspar, and we extend our sincerest condolences to her |
27 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
28 |
| further
