| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Janice Inez Hall of Chicago |
4 |
| on Monday, January 9, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall was born on November 21, 1947 to the |
6 |
| late Wynell McDaniel and Jerry Spells; she was the oldest of |
7 |
| three siblings; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall was a strong believer in Christ; she |
9 |
| professed this belief in her words and in her passion for |
10 |
| writing; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall had an outgoing personality and |
12 |
| expressed this personality artistically; she loved to write, |
13 |
| sing, dance, draw, sew, and "create"; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Janice Inez Hall has been deeply |
15 |
| felt by many, especially her loving husband, Robert "Richard" |
16 |
| Reed; her daughter, Tatyana McClain; her loving sister, Mazola |
17 |
| Steadman-Walker (Benard); her brother, Joseph Smith; her |
18 |
| cousins who were raised with her as sisters, Alma Lewis and |
19 |
| Chris Ridgnal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, |
20 |
| and friends; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
23 |
| Janice Inez Hall, and we extend our sincerest condolences to |
24 |
| her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
25 |
| further
|
26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
28 |
| sympathy for their loss.
