| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with sadness of the death of Nicole Maureen Duncan of |
4 |
| North Chicago, on January 16, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was born on March 31, 1972, |
6 |
| in Waukegan, Illinois, to Charles Duncan, Jr. and Mary Duncan; |
7 |
| and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was a graduate of North |
9 |
| Chicago High School in North Chicago, Illinois; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was preceded in death by her |
11 |
| maternal grandfather, Joseph Garrett; her paternal |
12 |
| grandfather, Charles Duncan, Sr.; and four uncles and one aunt; |
13 |
| and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Nicole Maureen Duncan is felt by |
15 |
| all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Naudia |
16 |
| Alexis Duncan; her parents, Charles Duncan, Jr., and Mary |
17 |
| Duncan; her three brothers, Bryant Duncan, Charles Duncan III, |
18 |
| and Parrish Duncan; her four sisters, Tiffiny Duncan, Desiree |
19 |
| (Jerry) Creer, Jemena Duncan, and Tempestt Duncan; her maternal |
20 |
| grandmother, Catherine Garrett; her paternal grandmother, |
21 |
| Louise Duncan; her very dear aunt, Teresa Neal; her six nephews |
22 |
| and eight nieces; and her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and |
23 |
| friends; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |

| Nicole Maureen Duncan and we extend our sincerest condolences |

| to her family and friends; and be it further
