| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Florence |
4 |
| A. Koper of Waukegan, formerly of North Chicago, who passed |
5 |
| away on November 19, 2005; and
|
6 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Koper was born on April 4, 1918 in North |
7 |
| Chicago to Walter and Victoria (Dzieglewicz) Koziol; she |
8 |
| married Edward Koper on November 23, 1940; and she worked at |
9 |
| Fansteel Corp. for 20 years, retiring in 1980; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, She was presently a member of Queen of Peace |
11 |
| Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Rosary Church; she |
12 |
| was also a member of Rosary Sodality at Holy Rosary Church; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, Florence Koper and her husband, Edward, were avid |
14 |
| dancers; they seldom missed a dance; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Koper was preceded in death by her parents, |
16 |
| her five sisters; and her three brothers; and
|
17 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Florence A. Koper will be felt by |
18 |
| all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Edward; her |
19 |
| daughter, Beverly (John) Koester; her son, Edward (Diane) |
20 |
| Koper; her grandchildren, Kathy Miller, John Koester, Emily |
21 |
| Koper, and Rachel Koper; and her great-grandchildren, Grant |
22 |
| Miller, Carter Miller, Kasey Miller, Savanna Koster, Jace |
23 |
| Koster, and Jett Koster; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
26 |
| all who knew and loved her, the death of Florence A. Koper; and |
27 |
| be it further
