| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Rev. Frank W. Plotka of |
4 |
| Waukegan on December 25, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Plotka was born July 26, 1939, in Chicago to |
6 |
| Frank J. and Mildred Plotka; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, He was Pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church |
8 |
| in Waukegan; after being ordained in 1968, Rev. Plotka spent |
9 |
| the next several decades as an assistant or associate pastor in |
10 |
| a number of north and west suburban parishes; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Rev. Plotka has been deeply felt by |
12 |
| many, especially his sister, Lois May (the late Donald) Kruse; |
13 |
| his nieces and nephews, Kristina (the late Randy) Kruse, |
14 |
| Michelle Harper (the late Jeffery Kruse), Gregory Pike, Deborah |
15 |
| (Bernard) Torri, Candace (Michael) Bargo, and Paulette |
16 |
| (Warren) Strietzel; and 11 great-nieces and nephews; he was |
17 |
| preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Eva Rose |
18 |
| (Edward) Pikel; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
21 |
| Rev. Frank Plotka, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
22 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
23 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to Rev. Plotka's family as an expression of our |
26 |
| deepest sympathy.
