| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Kathleen Foley Hogan of |
4 |
| Wilmette on December 26, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Hogan was born October 26, 1924, in Franklin |
6 |
| Park; she attended DePaul University; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, She had a 43 year career in real estate, working |
8 |
| for the former Lake Bay Realtors in Wilmette and Century 21 |
9 |
| also located in Wilmette; she was also active in fundraising |
10 |
| for the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Saint Francis Xavier |
11 |
| Church located in Wilmette; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Charles |
13 |
| Hogan; the devoted mother of Mark T. (Sallie) Hogan, Colleen A. |
14 |
| (William) Lowe, Sharon K. (Gary) Fresen, and Joseph C. (Anne) |
15 |
| Hogan; the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Patrick, |
16 |
| Sean, Adam, Sarah, Bennett, Cecilia, William, and Claire; and |
17 |
| the sister of Lucille Dwan and the late Margaret Kennard and |
18 |
| William Foley; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
21 |
| Kathleen Foley Hogan, and we extend our sincere condolences to |
22 |
| her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
23 |
| further
|
24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
26 |
| sympathy.
