| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with sadness of the death of Dolores Eileen Walters of |
4 |
| Godfrey on November 18, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Walters was born June 20, 1928, in Alton to |
6 |
| Harvey and Clara (Banks) Reilley; she married Joseph Bernard |
7 |
| Walters on November 26, 1949, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church |
8 |
| in Alton; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and |
10 |
| Lockhaven Country Club; she had been a member of the Junior |
11 |
| Service League; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; |
13 |
| her parents; and her daughter, Mary Patricia Schmidt; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Dolores Walters is felt by all who |
15 |
| knew and loved her, especially her daughters and sons-in-law, |
16 |
| Catherine and Larry Shiner, Jo Ann Walters, and Susan and |
17 |
| Gordon Gluck; her sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Marjorie |
18 |
| Walters Jr. and John Walters; her grandchildren, Allison and |
19 |
| Matt Schmidt and Kyle and Courtney Walters; and her sisters, |
20 |
| Patricia Judy, Jeanne Gaines, and Joan Diestelkamp; therefore, |
21 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
24 |
| Dolores Walters and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
25 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
28 |
| sympathy.
