| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the untimely and tragic death of Sara J. |
4 |
| Sims of Mulkeytown on Friday, November 18, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was the beloved daughter of Perry and Joni |
6 |
| (Gardner) Sims, born on April 20, 1984; she was in the top ten |
7 |
| of her graduating class at Christopher High School; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Sims was a homemaker and provided home care |
9 |
| for handicapped individuals; she served in the Illinois |
10 |
| National Guard; she was the loving mother of Alyssa, born in |
11 |
| August 2005; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Sara J. Sims has been deeply felt |
13 |
| by many, especially her boyfriend and Alyssa's daddy, John |
14 |
| Bullock; her daughter, Alyssa Renee Sims; her mother, Joni |
15 |
| Ziegler; her father, Perry Sims; her grandfather, Vernon Nagel; |
16 |
| her grandparents, Ben and Nila Rose Gardner; her sisters and |
17 |
| brother, Melissa Sims, Jessica Sims, and Evan Sims; and her |
18 |
| many aunts and uncles; she was preceded in death by her |
19 |
| grandmother, Theople Nagel; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
22 |
| Sara J. Sims, and we extend our sincere condolences to her |
23 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
24 |
| further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
27 |
| sympathy.
