| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Milford Dunning of Tamms |
4 |
| on November 21, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Dunning was born on August 19, 1911, in Tamms, |
6 |
| the son of Frank Dunning and Lena (Gossett) Dunning; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, He was a retired GMO railroad engineer and a |
8 |
| member of First Baptist Church in Tamms; he was also a member |
9 |
| of the Senior Citizens Smiles One Center in Mounds and a member |
10 |
| of the Brotherhood Locomotive Engineers Union; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia |
12 |
| (Coleman) Dunning, and his sister and three half-sisters; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Milford Dunning is felt by all who |
14 |
| knew and loved him, especially his sons and a daughter-in-law, |
15 |
| Bill and Mildred Dunning and Gary Dunning; his daughter and |
16 |
| son-in-law, Karen and David Brown; his brothers, Paul "Pete" |
17 |
| Dunning and Tom Dunning; his sisters, Mary Dailey and Erma Lee |
18 |
| Jones; his seven grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren; |
19 |
| and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
22 |
| Milford Dunning and extend our sincerest condolences to his |
23 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
26 |
| sympathy.
