| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Verda F. Armour of |
4 |
| Carlinville on Thursday, November 10, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on July 6, 1919, in Carlinville to |
6 |
| Walter and Idella Jennings Fullington; she married Eldon O. |
7 |
| Armour on March 19, 1938, in Carlinville; he preceded her in |
8 |
| death on January 4, 1997; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Armour was a Carlinville High School graduate |
10 |
| and a homemaker; she was a member of Rural United Methodist |
11 |
| Church and Home Extension; she enjoyed dancing and playing |
12 |
| cards; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Verda F. Armour has been deeply |
14 |
| felt by many, especially her sons and daughter-in-law, John |
15 |
| Eldon and Jean Armour and Dennis Lynn Armour; her daughter and |
16 |
| son-in-law, Judy Coleen and Roger Hill; her seven grandchildren |
17 |
| and eleven great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, |
18 |
| Betty and Don Konneker; and her many nieces and nephews; she |
19 |
| was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Fullington, |
20 |
| Jess Fullington, and Ray Fullington, and her sister, Norma |
21 |
| Challans; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
24 |
| Verda F. Armour, and we extend our sincere condolences to her |
25 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
26 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
28 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
29 |
| sympathy.
