| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were deeply |
3 |
| saddened to learn of the death of Mark L. Miller of Granite |
4 |
| City, Illinois on October 28, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mark L. Miller was born October 2, 1969 in Granite |
6 |
| City to Gary L. and Judith E. Johnson Miller; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Miller was a supervisor and steelworker with |
8 |
| Huntco Steel, Madison, Illinois; he was a 1987 graduate of |
9 |
| Granite City High School and enjoyed playing all sports and was |
10 |
| extremely talented at playing baseball; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, He will be remembered for his love of music, |
12 |
| playing the drums, guitar, and piano, and his vocals; he loved |
13 |
| playing the drums and being the back-up vocalist of "The Alley" |
14 |
| band; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, Surviving Mr. Miller are his parents; a daughter |
16 |
| who will miss him dearly, Faith Nicole Miller; three brothers |
17 |
| and two sisters-in-law, Police Chief Richard E. and Kalani |
18 |
| Miller, Darren S. Miller, and Matthew J. and Gina Miller; two |
19 |
| nephews, Dustin Miller and Clayton Miller; four nieces, Amber |
20 |
| Miller, Ashley Koenig, Megan Koenig, and Marcella Miller; a |
21 |
| very special friend, Sara Edwards; and other extended family |
22 |
| and many friends; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
25 |
| Mark L. Miller and extend our sincerest condolences to his |
26 |
| family and friends and to all who knew and loved him; and be it |
27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
