| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Fleeta |
4 |
| Hansford Clarvoe, who passed away on October 10, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Fleeta Clarvoe was born on June 25, 1922, in |
6 |
| Englewood, New Jersey; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Fleeta Clarvoe was preceded in death by her |
8 |
| mother, father, brother, sister, and loving daughter, Judy |
9 |
| Clemons; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Fleeta Hansford Clarvoe will be |
11 |
| felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her devoted |
12 |
| husband of fifty-three years, Walter W. Clarvoe, Sr.; her |
13 |
| brother, Aytch Hansford; her sons, Emanuel Burns, Johnny Burns, |
14 |
| and Walter W. Clarvoe, Jr.; her niece, Rose Marie Smith; her |
15 |
| god-daughter, Icelean Y. McClendon; her grandchildren, |
16 |
| Ronjeet, Tasha, Lakeesha, and Sasha Burns, Sholonda King, |
17 |
| Lonette Allen, and Jenaue McClendon; and a host of |
18 |
| great-grandchildren; grand-nephews, extended family, friends, |
19 |
| and Babe the cat; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
22 |
| all who knew and loved her, the death of Fleeta Hansford |
23 |
| Clarvoe; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to the family of Fleeta Hansford Clarvoe.
