| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Carolyn A. Moore of Herrin |
4 |
| on Wednesday, October 5, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Moore was born on February 25, 1940, in |
6 |
| Herrin to George William and Mary Pauline (Hunsaker) Karraker; |
7 |
| she married Jesse E. Moore on December 31, 1961 in |
8 |
| Jacksonville; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Moore was retired after having worked as a |
10 |
| field worker for GROW of Illinois; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Moore was an active member of Herrin First |
12 |
| Baptist Church; she had a warm smile and a caring heart; and |
13 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and a |
14 |
| grandson, Cody Alan Tubbs; and |
15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Carolyn A. Moore has been deeply |
16 |
| felt by many, especially her husband, Jesse E. Moore; her |
17 |
| daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Charles Morris; her son, |
18 |
| Scott Moore; her three grandchildren, Crystal Tubbs, Timothy |
19 |
| "TJ" Tubbs, and Matthew Moore; her two brothers and |
20 |
| sisters-in-law, Paul and Sarah Karraker and Bob and Diane |
21 |
| Karraker; her brother-in-law, George T. and Veda Moore; several |
22 |
| nieces and nephews; and many friends; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
25 |
| Carolyn A. Moore, and we extend our sincerest condolences to |
26 |
| her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
