| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Jim Galloway of |
4 |
| Thompsonville on Wednesday, August 10, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born in Gary, Indiana, on July 29, 1957, to |
6 |
| Grover and Mildred (Tate) Galloway; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Galloway was a minister at Antioch |
8 |
| International Assemblies in Mount Vernon; he was assistant |
9 |
| coach of the Thompsonville Junior High baseball team and also |
10 |
| coached summer ball in Thompsonville; he was a student at |
11 |
| Southern Illinois University; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Jim Galloway has been deeply felt |
13 |
| by many, especially his wife, Jody (Jordan) Galloway; his |
14 |
| parents, Grover "Doc" and Mildred "Mid" Galloway; his children, |
15 |
| Jessica Eaton and husband Chad, Thad Galloway, Jack Nielsen, |
16 |
| Jordan Nielsen, Jaymi Galloway, and Jenna Galloway; his |
17 |
| brother, Dr. Dan Galloway and wife Christine; his sister, |
18 |
| Debbie Daly and husband Jim; and his many aunts, uncles, |
19 |
| nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
22 |
| Jim Galloway, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
23 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
24 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
27 |
| sympathy.
