| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Arthur Pedigo of Herrin, |
4 |
| formerly of Royalton, on June 9, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Pedigo was born July 3, 1929, in Franklin |
6 |
| County, to Radford and Hattie (Carnahan) Pedigo; he married |
7 |
| Bonnie Lee Davis on May 3, 1951, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of First Baptist Church in |
9 |
| Royalton; he was the former owner and operator of Pedigo |
10 |
| Service Station in Royalton, had worked for Baggott-Diuguid |
11 |
| Phillips 66 station in Royalton, and was a coal miner; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, three |
13 |
| brothers, Benjamin, Rice, and Isaac Pedigo, and a grandson, |
14 |
| Pearson Lee Tindall; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Arthur Pedigo is felt by all who |
16 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife, Bonnie; his daughters |
17 |
| and sons-in-law, Diane and John Davis and Tina and Keith |
18 |
| Worthan; his sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Margie Pedigo |
19 |
| and Everett and Debbie Pedigo; his seven grandchildren and |
20 |
| seven great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Anna Conroy and |
21 |
| Vera Knight; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
24 |
| Arthur Pedigo and extend our sincerest condolences to his |
25 |
| family and friends; and be it further
|
26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
28 |
| sympathy.
