| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with sadness of the death of Ida Marie Boester of |
4 |
| Marion on July 9, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on February 12, 1917, in Williamson |
6 |
| County, to Rudolph Henry and Louise (Pape) Boester; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, She retired from Cox Hardware and Gifts in Marion; |
8 |
| she was an active member of Zion United Church of Christ; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, her |
10 |
| brother, Herman Boester, and her sisters, Elsie Hrovatich, Nora |
11 |
| Boester, Frieda Boester, and Esther Carter; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Ida Marie Boester is felt by all |
13 |
| who knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Delores L. |
14 |
| Deaton; her granddaughters, Beth Ann Murphy and husband Tom and |
15 |
| Pamela Lynn Craig; her great-grandchildren, Samantha Clayton, |
16 |
| Pamela Sue Craig, James T. Murphy, and Rachel Rock; her |
17 |
| brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudolph and Jean Boester and John |
18 |
| and Theresa Boester; her sister-in-law, Irma Boester; and her |
19 |
| nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
22 |
| Ida Marie Boester and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
23 |
| family; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
26 |
| sympathy.
