| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Avis Irene Sanders of |
4 |
| Dongola on July 12, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Sanders was born August 8, 1933, in |
6 |
| Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Wilfred Joseph and |
7 |
| Berniece Ida Williams Miller; she married Teddy Louis Sanders |
8 |
| on January 31, 1954, in Jonesboro; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a |
10 |
| lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary; she was dearly |
11 |
| loved by family and friends; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Avis Sanders is felt by all who |
14 |
| knew and loved her, especially her husband, Teddy Sanders; her |
15 |
| children, Teddy Lee and wife Christine Sanders, Cindy Bea and |
16 |
| husband Greg Kingsley, and Duffy Allen and wife, Tammy Sanders; |
17 |
| her grandchildren, Michele and Michael Sanders, Kelle Sanders, |
18 |
| Trista Kingsley, Tiffani, Christopher, David, Duffy, and |
19 |
| Nicholas Sanders; her brother-in-law, Arlie Wayne Sanders; and |
20 |
| her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; therefore, |
21 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
24 |
| Avis Sanders and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
25 |
| family; and be it further
|
26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
28 |
| sympathy.
