| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with great sadness of the death of Anthony Christian |
4 |
| "Tony" Tuma of Zeigler on Thursday, July 7, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on September 14, 1951, in Chicago, to |
6 |
| Richard and Nellie (Singer) Tuma; he was preceded in death by |
7 |
| his father when he was 4 years old and was raised and is |
8 |
| survived by his mother and second father, Nellie and Lloyd |
9 |
| "Buddy" Weston of Zeigler; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Tuma was a graduate of Zeigler-Royalton High |
11 |
| School and Rend Lake College; he last worked as an installer |
12 |
| for Aduddell Distributing and Circle A. Leasing Company in |
13 |
| Zeigler; he was a member of Eagles Lodge and American Legion in |
14 |
| Zeigler; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, In addition to his mother and second father, the |
16 |
| passing of Anthony Christian "Tony" Tuma has been deeply felt |
17 |
| by many, especially his son, Anthony Christian Tuma II; his |
18 |
| daughter and son-in-law, Michele and James Hubbard; his |
19 |
| grandchildren, Lacie Jo and Kailey Hubbard; his sister and |
20 |
| brother-in-law, Kitty and Doug Hitt; his brothers and a |
21 |
| sister-in-law, Richard and Duane Weston and Bill and Ronda |
22 |
| Weston; and his many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be |
23 |
| it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
25 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
26 |
| Anthony Christian "Tony" Tuma, and we extend our sincerest |
27 |
| condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
28 |
| him; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
