| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Eva Ash, formerly of North |
4 |
| Chicago, on Tuesday, November 23, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on September 14, 1917, in North |
6 |
| Chicago and lived in the area all of her life; she retired from |
7 |
| Abbott Labs after 14 years there; she was an avid country music |
8 |
| fan and enjoyed dancing to all music; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Eva Ash has been deeply felt by |
10 |
| many, especially her children, Barbara (Jim Grant) Gamberale |
11 |
| and Linda (Tom) Thompson; her grandchildren, Kim Gamberale and |
12 |
| Tim (Maria) Thompson; her great-grandchildren, Jimmy Pope and |
13 |
| William Thompson; her sister, Frances Zorzy; and her many |
14 |
| nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her first |
15 |
| husband, Bernard "Barney" Ceskowski; her second husband, |
16 |
| Robert Ash; her son-in-law, Edward Gamberale; her father and |
17 |
| mother, Henry and Sophia Kalinowski; her brothers and sisters, |
18 |
| Sophie Remsgar, Mary Foltz, Walter Keller, Helen Gabala, |
19 |
| Stanley Keller, John Kalinowski, Henry "Hinie" Kalinowski, |
20 |
| Adam Keller, and Anna Zorzy; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
23 |
| Eva Ash, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, |
24 |
| friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
27 |
| sympathy.
