| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Adonis Watson, formerly of |
4 |
| Anna, on Tuesday, June 7, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on September 9, 1918, in Anna, to Dee |
6 |
| and Vica (Young) Brimm; she married Paul Watson on August 19, |
7 |
| 1930; he preceded her in death on September 18, 1998; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and a member of Anna |
9 |
| Heights Baptist Church; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Adonis Watson has been deeply felt |
11 |
| by many, especially her daughters, Donna Farrell, Pat and |
12 |
| husband Larry Skipworth, and Linda and husband Greg Purdom; her |
13 |
| four grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her sisters, |
14 |
| Virginia and husband Earl Miles and Eleanor Ketchie; her |
15 |
| sister-in-law, Helen Brimm; and her nieces, nephews, and other |
16 |
| relatives; she was preceded in death by her parents; her |
17 |
| husband; her sister, Mary Whitney; her brother, Charles Brimm; |
18 |
| and her brother-in-law, Irvin Ketchie; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
21 |
| Adonis Watson, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
22 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
23 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our sincerest |
26 |
| condolences.
