| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Scott C. Stone of O'Fallon |
4 |
| on Saturday, May 14, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Stone was born on February 26, 1968, in East |
6 |
| St. Louis; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, He worked as an administrative assistant for the |
8 |
| Secretary of State; he also worked as a Deputy Coroner for St. |
9 |
| Clair County; he was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church; |
10 |
| and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Stone loved life and was a good father and |
12 |
| husband, and he had the gift of gab; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Scott C. Stone has been deeply felt |
14 |
| by many, especially his wife, Jill, nee Noffsinger, Stone; his |
15 |
| children, Taylor Ruth Ann Stone and Sydney Marie Stone; his |
16 |
| parents, Rick (Suzie) Stone and Ruth L. Stone; his brother, |
17 |
| Jeffrey (Carla) Stone; and his step-brothers, Michael Miller |
18 |
| and David (Anne) Miller; he was the dear uncle of Maxwell and |
19 |
| Madison Stone; the dear son-in-law of Jay and Sharon |
20 |
| Noffsinger; the dear brother-in-law of John (Jamie) Franklin |
21 |
| and Julie Noffsinger; and a dear godfather and nephew; |
22 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
25 |
| Scott C. Stone, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his |
26 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to his family as an expression of our sincere |
