| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Luke Slusher on April 28, |
| 4 |
| 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Slusher was born on May 14, 1982, to Tony and |
| 6 |
| Katie Slusher; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He had worked as a deck hand on CGB Waterfront in |
| 8 |
| Cairo, was a graduate of Century High School, and was a member |
| 9 |
| of the National Rifle Association; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was an avid hunter and enjoyed four-wheeling; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal |
| 13 |
| grandparents, Richard and Ruth Slusher; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Luke Slusher is felt by all who |
| 15 |
| knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Haleigh Breyenne |
| 16 |
| Slusher; his parents; his brothers, Eric and Buddy Slusher; his |
| 17 |
| maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Shanault; and numerous |
| 18 |
| aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives; therefore, be it
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 21 |
| Luke Slusher and extend our sincerest condolences to his |
| 22 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 25 |
| sympathy.
