| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Edward E. Schmidgall of |
4 |
| Tiskilwa on Wednesday, February 9, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born May 6, 1917, in Morton to Otto and |
6 |
| Mary (Bauman) Schmidgall; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Schmidgall was a retired farmer; he valiantly |
8 |
| served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during World |
9 |
| War II and was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church in |
10 |
| Forrest; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Edward E. Schmidgall has been |
12 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Viola Albrecht Beams |
13 |
| Schmidgall; his stepson, Delmar (Eleanor) Beams; his brothers, |
14 |
| Harold (Ethel) Schmidgall and Marvin (Dorothy) Schmidgall; his |
15 |
| step-granddaughter, Leslee Beam (David) Staker; and his many |
16 |
| nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents; |
17 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
20 |
| Edward E. Schmidgall, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his |
21 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
22 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
24 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our sincere |
25 |
| condolences.
