| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Robert E. Cherry, IV, on |
4 |
| Sunday, January 2, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on October 30, 1990, to Robert E. and |
6 |
| Janina Cherry, III; he was baptized at an early age at St. |
7 |
| Sabina Church; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Robert was an eighth grade student at St. |
9 |
| Ethelreda School; he loved math, and he played drums and sang |
10 |
| in the school choir; he was a Boy Scout and played on the |
11 |
| Little League baseball team; he was a Deputy Grand Knight, |
12 |
| Junior Branch, of the Knights of Peter Claver #192; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Robert E. Cherry, IV, has been |
14 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his father and stepmother, |
15 |
| Robert E. and Levina Cherry, III; his brother, Darius; his half |
16 |
| brother and sisters, Everett, Imani, and Destine'; his great |
17 |
| grandmother, Annie Mae Harbour; his grandparents, Leone and |
18 |
| Mildred Jackson and Robert E. and Walterine Cherry, Jr.; his |
19 |
| uncles, Terry P. Jackson, Keith Jackson, and Kevin Cherry; his |
20 |
| aunt, Aleisa Cherry; and his many relatives and friends; he was |
21 |
| preceded in death by his mother and his half sister, Chinita |
22 |
| Middleton; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
25 |
| Robert E. Cherry, IV, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his |
26 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
29 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our sincere |

| condolences.
