| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Elizabeth A. Groves of |
| 4 |
| Peoria on Friday, January 21, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on December 5, 1917, in Peoria to |
| 6 |
| Albert and Sarah Swords Raistrick; she married William Groves |
| 7 |
| on June 10, 1951, in Peoria; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Groves worked at Boss Glove Factory and later |
| 9 |
| at Bork Auto Parts and Machine Co.; she attended Second Baptist |
| 10 |
| Church in Peoria; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Elizabeth A. Groves has been deeply |
| 12 |
| felt by many, especially her husband, William; her daughter, |
| 13 |
| Marilyn (and Don) Magiera; her son, Bill (and Kathy); and her |
| 14 |
| four grandchildren; she was preceded in death by seven |
| 15 |
| brothers, two sisters, and one grandson; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 |
| Elizabeth A. Groves, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
| 19 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 20 |
| further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the family of Mrs. Groves as an expression of our |
| 23 |
| sincere condolences.
