| WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report |

| on Waiver of
School Code Mandates, dated September 29, 2006, |

| with the Senate, the House of
Representatives, and the |
| 5 |
| Secretary of State of Illinois as required by Section
2-3.25g |
| 6 |
| of the School Code; therefore, be it
|
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 8 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES |
| 9 |
| CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is encouraged to |
| 10 |
| promptly review and evaluate the Report and determine whether |
| 11 |
| to disapprove, in whole or in part, the Report or any waiver |
| 12 |
| request or appealed request outlined in the Report.
