SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Capital Development Board for a grant to City of Chicago School District 299 for the construction of a high school at 31st Street and Kedzie Street, with an enrollment of at least 3,000 students.  Effective July 1, 2006.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5.  The amount of $50,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Capital Development Board for a grant to City of Chicago School District 299 for the construction of a high school at 31st Street and Kedzie Street, with an enrollment of at least 3,000 students.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
