SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a pilot class size reduction grant program. Effective July 1, 2006.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $10,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the pilot class size reduction grant program created under subsection (b) of Section 2-3.136 of the School Code.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
