Amends the School Code. Requires the State Board of Education, in consultation with the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools, to develop a plan to change the boundaries of educational service regions so that an educational service region in this State has the same boundaries as a community college district in this State. Effective immediately.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 |
| 3A-4.5 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (105 ILCS 5/3A-4.5 new) |

| Sec. 3A-4.5. Boundary change plan. The State Board of |
| 8 |
| Education, in consultation with the Illinois Association of |
| 9 |
| Regional Superintendents of Schools, shall develop a plan to |
| 10 |
| change the boundaries of educational service regions so that an |
| 11 |
| educational service region in this State has the same |
| 12 |
| boundaries as a community college district in this State.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 |
| becoming law.
