    Amends the Illinois Procurement Code.  Provides that pre-award, post-award, administration, and close-out documents relating to a contract must be public after that contract is awarded.  Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning procurement.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended  by 
5
adding Section 20-155 as follows:

    (30 ILCS 500/20-155  new)

    Sec. 20-155. Public documents. Notwithstanding any 
8
provision of this Code or another law to the contrary, all 
9
pre-award, post-award, administration, and close-out documents 
10
relating to a contract shall be public following the award of 
11
that contract.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
13
becoming law.
