Appropriates $40,000 from the Transportation Safety Highway Hire-back Fund to IDOT to hire off-duty Department of State Police officers to monitor highway construction or maintenance zones. Effective July 1, 2005.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $40,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation Safety Highway Hire-back Fund to the Department of Transportation to hire off-duty Department of State Police officers to monitor highway construction or maintenance zones.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
