SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for any initial costs associated with implementing managed care principles in the Illinois Medicaid Program. Effective July 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $1, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for any initial costs associated with implementing managed care principles in the Illinois Medicaid Program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
