Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Requires the Department of Revenue to prepare an annual report listing all revenue and fee collections and distributions and all expenditures of the Department for the prior fiscal year. Provides that, no later than October 1 of each year, the Department must submit the annual report to the Governor and the General Assembly and make an electronic copy of the report available on its Internet website. Effective immediately.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil |

| Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |
| 6 |
| 2505-745 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2505-745. Annual report. |
| 9 |
| (a) The Department must prepare an annual report listing |
| 10 |
| all revenue and fee collections and distributions and all |
| 11 |
| expenditures of the Department for the prior fiscal year. The |
| 12 |
| report must be sufficiently itemized to identify the type and |
| 13 |
| source of each collection, distribution, and expenditure. The |
| 14 |
| requirement to report all revenue and fee collections applies |
| 15 |
| to all taxes and fees administered by the Department. |
| 16 |
| (b) No later than October 1 of each year, the Department |
| 17 |
| must submit the annual report to the Governor and the General |
| 18 |
| Assembly and make an electronic copy of the report available on |
| 19 |
| its Internet website.

| 20 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 21 |
| becoming law.
