| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1825 on page 33, by |

| replacing lines 30 through 35 with the following: |

| "commercial motor vehicle on the highways without: |
| 5 |
| (1) a CDL in the driver's possession; |
| 6 |
| (2) having obtained a CDL; or |
| 7 |
| (3) the proper class of CDL or endorsements for the |
| 8 |
| specific vehicle group being operated or for the passengers |
| 9 |
| or type of cargo being transported.
unless the person has |
| 10 |
| been issued, and is in the immediate possession of, a
CDL |
| 11 |
| bearing all applicable endorsements valid for type or |
| 12 |
| classification of
the commercial vehicle being driven."; |
