SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the Court of Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses and for payment of claims. Effective July 1, 2005.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Court of Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses:
CLAIMS ADJUDICATION
Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
For Personal Services............................ 925,800
For State Contribution to State
Employees' Retirement System................... 146,300
For Employee Retirement Contributions
Paid by Employer................................ 37,000
For State Contribution to Social
Security........................................ 70,800
For Contractual Services.......................... 16,300
For Travel........................................ 13,000
For Commodities.................................... 7,500
For Printing....................................... 5,000
For Equipment...................................... 8,200
For Telecommunications Services.................... 4,400
For Reimbursement for Incidental
Expenses Incurred by Judges..................... 35,300
Total $1,269,600
Section 10. The amount of $300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims Administration and Grant Fund to the Court of Claims for administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation Act.
Section 15. The amount of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Court of Claims for payment of awards solely as a result of the lapsing of an appropriation originally made from any funds held by the State Treasurer.
Section 20. The following named amounts, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of Claims for payment of claims as follows:
For claims under the Crime Victims

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
