| AN ACT concerning taxes.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
|
| 5 |
| Section 18-245 as follows:
|

| (35 ILCS 200/18-245)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 18-245. Rules. The Department shall make and |
| 8 |
| promulgate reasonable
rules relating to the administration of |
| 9 |
| the purposes and provisions of Sections
18-185 through 18-240 |
| 10 |
| (the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law) as may be
necessary |

| or appropriate.
