Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Board of the Trustees of Northern Illinois University for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Board of the Trustees of Northern Illinois University to meet ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006:
Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
For Personal Services, including payment
to the university for personal services
costs incurred during the fiscal year
and salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
personnel for personal services rendered
during the academic year 2005-2006.......... 87,085,200
For State Contributions to Social
Security, for Medicare......................... 883,500
For Group Insurance............................ 2,337,300
For Contractual Services....................... 6,536,800
For Travel....................................... 163,500
For Commodities................................ 1,485,300
For Equipment.................................. 1,316,500

Section 10. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois University for scholarship grant awards, in accordance with Public Act 91-0083.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
