| AN ACT concerning transportation.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Zoning to Eliminate Airport Hazards Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
|

| Sec. 1. The
The safety, health, welfare and protection of |
| 8 |
| persons and property
in the air and on the ground and of the |
| 9 |
| maintenance of electronic
communications within this State |

| require that the navigable airspace
overlying the State and the |
| 11 |
| approaches to and the air traffic pattern area
of any public |
| 12 |
| airport in this State be maintained in a reasonably
|
| 13 |
| unobstructed condition for the safe flight of aircraft. To that |
| 14 |
| end, the
location, height and identification of structures and |
| 15 |
| the use of land
thereto related are regulated. |
