    AN ACT concerning agriculture.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Insect Pest and Plant Disease Act is amended 
5
by changing Section 3.01 as follows:

    Sec. 3.01. A nurseryman and
and nursery dealer shall 
8
maintain for one year
records of plant purchases, acquisitions, 
9
sales or
other distributions, and make the records available 
10
upon request to the
Director for inspection.  It shall be 
11
unlawful for any person to withhold
records, keep or file false 
12
records or to inaccurately alter his or her
records or to 
13
present to the Department any materially false records.
