| AN ACT concerning education.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 4 as follows:
|

| Sec. 4. The
The board of trustees shall elect a regent who |

| shall be charged
with the general supervision of the |
| 9 |
| educational facilities and interests of
the university. Said |

| regent shall be known as President of the University
and his |

| term of office shall be at the pleasure of the board of |
| 12 |
| trustees. |
