| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate Foster, a K-9 |
| 4 |
| member of the Plainfield Police Department, on the occasion of |
| 5 |
| his retirement; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Foster was honored on July 14, 2006, for more than |
| 7 |
| eight years of service with the Plainfield Police Department; |
| 8 |
| and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, With his partner, Officer James Caliendo, Foster |
| 10 |
| participated in eight years of performing demonstrations for |
| 11 |
| school children during D.A.R.E. graduations, conducted more |
| 12 |
| than 20,000 searches, and captured more than 180,000 grams of |
| 13 |
| cannabis off the street; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Foster has earned numerous awards throughout his |
| 15 |
| career, including the Landheim Training Academy 400 Lbs Find |
| 16 |
| Award and the Illinois Police Work Dog 100 Lbs Plus Club Award; |
| 17 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| we congratulate Foster on a successful eight years of service |
| 21 |
| with the Plainfield Police Department; and be it further
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 23 |
| presented to Officer James Caliendo and to the Plainfield |
| 24 |
| Police Department as an expression of our esteem.
